What this surface is

Readiness is the evaluation workspace for a target deck you already have. Its page header reads Readiness — “Bottlenecks, conflicts, chain analysis, and battle-log insights.”

Three tabs are exposed in the tab strip, each answering a different question: how does this deck stack up against another one, how do its interaction chains resolve, and what actually happened when you played it. A fourth view — conflicts — is reachable by deep-link only; see the note under Tabs.

Where to find it in the app

Sidebar → Strategy → Evaluation, which routes to /readiness. The nav label is “Evaluation”; the page title is “Readiness”. Both refer to this surface.

Target-deck selection

Readiness always operates on one deck at a time and picks it for you.

On a fresh load — a new tab, a reload, or a session in which you have not opened a deck in Deck Lab yet — the order is:

  1. ?deck=<id> in the URL, if that deck is one of your target decks
  2. the deck currently open in Deck Lab
  3. the most recently updated target deck

Within a session, a deck already open in Deck Lab wins. Once you open a deck in Deck Lab, that choice is remembered for the rest of the browser session, and Readiness starts on it — ?deck= does not override it. So navigating to /readiness?deck=<other-id> after having opened a different deck in Deck Lab analyses the Deck Lab deck, not the one named in the URL.

If you have no target decks, there is nothing to select and the tabs render empty. Create a deck in Deck Lab first.

Tabs

The default tab is Compare.

Tab?tab=What it shows
ComparecompareTwo decks side by side — see Compare
Chain AnalysischainHow the deck’s interaction chains resolve
Battle Logbattle_logRecorded duels, matchup notes, and the cards that mattered

Compare and Chain Analysis carry a view-mode toggle (list / thumbnail / gallery); Battle Log does not.

The Compare tab reads two parameters:

  • ?deck=<id> — the baseline deck
  • ?cmp=<id> — the deck to compare it against

Compare is the default tab, so /readiness?deck=<id>&cmp=<id> already renders the right content. The browser tab title, however, is gated on tab=compare being present explicitly: it resolves only for

/readiness?tab=compare&deck=<baseline-id>&cmp=<target-id>

which produces <baseline> vs <target> - Compare - DeckScope. Use that third parameter in anything you share, or the link lands under the generic app title and is unrecognisable in a tab strip.

A shared Compare link resolves its baseline reliably only on a fresh load — see Target-deck selection for the in-session case where a deck open in Deck Lab takes precedence over ?deck=.

Battle Log

Battle Log records real duels rather than simulations: match details, duel notes, and the cards that decided the game. Notes support card mentions — type / inside the comment composer to insert a card reference — and entries have a read-oriented preview mode separate from the edit mode.
